Unresolved stress, tension, emotions, traumas, memories, limiting beliefs and energetic blockages can be stored in your body and mind. This can lead to imbalances in your system and have a detrimental impact on your wellbeing.
Sometimes we are aware of what is impacting us but we often hold on to things without being consciously aware, then wonder why we feel tired, stressed, sick, anxious, sad, frustrated, angry, lost or not aligned in life.
Breathwork is a powerful way to help shift these things, create balance, regulate your nervous system and be able to find a sense of calm in any moment.
Guided breathwork journeys can help you process and let go of anything you have consciously or unconsciously been holding on to so you can feel free, empowered, view life through a new lens and connect with your intuition.
The main style of breathwork I work with is a guided somatic breathwork journey, which includes a combination of conscious connected breathwork (activation) and restorative breathwork to access a non-ordinary state of consciousness.
Journeys are usually between 45 - 90 minutes depending on your needs. The time for a standard journey is 60 minutes. During a breathwork journey you will be laying comfortably on a yoga mat with a blanket with curated music playing. I will be guiding with my voice, while using supportive tools such as tapping, toning, touch and energy work.
Every breathwork journey is a unique experience to the individual. I ensure all sessions are titrated carefully and safely.

I started out with a daily Wim Hoff practice, then experienced her first guided breathwork journey on a woman’s retreat during a difficult time in my life. I came out of that journey with newfound strength, clarity, and a new perspective on life. I felt connected to something bigger than me, unlocked power within me that I didn’t even knew existed and felt DIFFERENT in the most beautiful way.
I then experienced two breathwork journeys with Owaken where visualised my future self. These journeys were pivotal in my decision to study breathwork so I could share this with others.

Emotional releases can be common in a breathwork journey, especially if you haven’t done one before, however this isn’t always the case! Sometimes journeys can feel emotional, sometimes they feel lighter. Sometimes it may feel like you’ve had a deep rest for an hour, or sometimes you may have a psychedelic experience. Or a combination of all the above! The main thing to remember is to enter a journey with no expectations. Your body mind system is so intelligent it will always give you exactly what you need for healing and transformation in that moment.

Getting technical here!
The first phase of a journey usually involves activated breathing (deep conscious connected breaths in and out of the mouth) which stimulates the Sympathetic Nervous System and Limbic system, decreasing electrical activity in the Default Mode Network and opening perception to access subconscious material.
In this non-ordinary state of consciousness, you can access unresolved stress, tension, emotions, traumas, memories, limiting beliefs and energetic blockages to facilitate release and completion of anything that needs to be processed.
The second phase of a journey, or sometimes a full journey if a client requires a gentler approach for a session, involves restorative breathing (slow, deep and gentle breaths in and out of the nose).
This stimulates the Parasympathetic Nervous System (rest and digest), slows down our heart rate, digestion, regulation of hormones and allows us to feel safe, relaxed and at ease.

Absolutely. No experience is needed. I will send you a form to complete prior to ensure breathwork is suitable for you and tailor the session specifically to you so you feel safe and held. I’ve got you!

This is entirely up to you. If there is a particular issue that you’re wanting to focus on working through, or a dream you’re wanting to make come to life, an 8 week group experience, The Suite or a 3 session concession would be the best approach.
If you are wanting to give it go but aren’t wanting to commit to multi sessions straight away, starting with one session then seeing how you feel after and when/if you’d like to journey again can be a good approach. Most clients want to come back for more once they start as they feel instant shifts in their lives and how they feel for the better.

Yes, many, including during my training I was guided through a full breathwork journey every fortnight for 9 months, and have done many journeys since then - so I have spent a lot of time experiencing journeys first hand!

I hold a Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator Certification from Owaken Breathwork and have been directly mentored by Lukis Mac and Helle Weston.
This certification involved an intensive 9 month training where I personally entered a breathwork journey myself every fortnight for the entire 9 months, followed by mandatory practice client sessions which were assessed by Owaken Breathwork.
After gaining my certification gained experience in the field working 1:1, in groups and facilitating at large international events of up to 250 people. I then went on to become the Head Support Coach for the 2024 Owaken Breathwork Facilitator Training, supporting a new round of facilitators through their training and hosting monthly integration calls.
I have also worked in a leadership role for a large corporate for 11 years and have experienced and facilitated an extensive amount of leadership and coaching training/development throughout my career.
It is extremely important to check qualifications and experience of any breathwork facilitator or coach prior to working with them.
